13Applications for Building Regulations Approval
This chapter provides information about seeking approval of the design for a loft conversion, under the Building Regulations. The focus is on the Building Regulations in force in England. The regulations in Wales are similar but diverging from the English regulations; the regulations in other devolved nations are different, and advice should be sought from local Building Control Bodies.
