I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Seit 2003 arbeite ich mit Macs, und ich hatte nur einen einzigen Systemabsturz, bei dem der Rechner überhaupt nicht mehr reagierte. Alles, was ich tun musste, war, den Einschaltknopf für fünf Sekunden gedrückt zu halten. Das zwingt den Rechner zum Ausschalten.
Für den Fall, dass ein Programm nicht mehr reagiert (also wenn der drehende Mauszeiger – alias Strandball des Todes – eingeblendet wird, der anzeigt, dass der Rechner beschäftigt ist), aber der Rest des Systems gut zu funktionieren scheint, berichten viele Anwender, dass schon allein der Start des Programms Aktivitätsanzeige die Schwierigkeiten irgendwie beseitigt habe.
