I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Connecting to an ISP
There are two ways to establish a PPP connection to your ISP:
Use the Remote Access control panel or Remote Access Status application to dial in whenever you want.
Launch an application that requires an Internet connection (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer); a PPP connection is automatically established.
Tip
If you have a direct or LAN connection to the Internet, you don't have to worry about establishing a connection—it's always there.
To connect to an ISP with the Remote Access control panel
