Neural Networks
6.1 Perceptron Neural Network
A neural network is a model of reasoning that is inspired by biological neural networks, which is the central nervous system in an animal brain. The human brain consists of a huge number of interconnected nerve cells called neurons.
A neuron consists of a cell body, soma, a number of fibers called dendrites, and a single long fiber called the axon [1] (Figure 6.1).
The main function of dendrites is to receive messages from other neurons. Then, the signal travels to the main cell body, known as the soma.
