David G. Tuerck taught macroeconomics at every level—introductory, intermediate, master’s, and PhD—throughout his 38 years as a member of the economics department at Suffolk University in Boston. Having retired in 2020 from Suffolk, where he chaired the department until 2012, he now focuses full time on leading the Beacon Hill Institute, a Massachusetts economic research organization that specializes in tax policy analysis, specifically tax policy analysis that embraces “supply-side” principles.
