Chapter 8. Dreamweaver Templates

Templates will not only increase your productivity, they also promote consistency throughout the design of your site. Templates are especially useful for sites that use a similar page design on the majority of their pages. Additionally they can be beneficial if there are contributing content developers who may not necessarily be in tune with page design. They can add their content only to regions that you, or the designer of the template, specify as areas that can be edited.
