Chapter 8. Laying Out Your Project
IN THIS CHAPTER
Part of getting organized is developing a page or interface layout that you plan to use for much of your application. This is more than creating site maps; you need to sketch out what your interface is going to look like from point to point. Often called storyboarding, it's useful to not only have it drawn out somewhere on paper, but also in Flash, in special layers.
This chapter reviews the ideas behind laying things out in Flash and creating templates that you and everyone else in your team can use to maintain consistency throughout your application.
