Hunt and Click Games

Perhaps the simplest and most common game on the Web is the type in which a player is expected to click a target and score points. This type of game varies in difficulty depending upon how the target moves, if at all.

In this chapter, you will look at four major variations of the hunt-and-click game. The first is a game in which the targets don’t move but are instead hidden in a complex picture. This is a little like the popular series of books Where’s Waldo? Images of the fox are hidden in a drawing of trees and such.
