I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 8. Foundation Communication Server
In my opinion, the Flash Communication Server (FCS) is the coolest product Macromedia has ever produced. Because it’s not always clear what FCS offers over straight Macromedia Flash MX 2004, or when it’s an appropriate solution, the primary goal of this chapter is to provide a technical foundation on which you can build while making pure FCS applications. Naturally, you’ll be able to add FCS features to other applications, but the examples found here are pure FCS apps.
