Chapter 5. Build the X4Wii

In the previous chapter, we ran a series of tests on the Hubsan X4 107C to find out how changing props and batteries affects performance. Now we are going to try changing that most interesting of components, the flight controller. In fact, we are going to build a new drone from scratch, using the frame, motors, and props from an X4, but putting in an open source flight controller. We’ll use the MicroMWC mentioned in Chapter 2 (see Figure 5-1).
