Monitor Your Progress to Settle In or Move On
Key #8 shows you how to monitor your progress during the first few weeks and months after joining a new organization to determine if it is a place where you can survive and be successful (Figure 1, page 3).
To make this determination, you must find out how your performance and other contributions are being perceived by your key players and others. If you are doing well, what can you do better? If things are not going well, what are your options?
