Authoring systems

The tools presented in Table C.1 represent authoring tools that can support a unfied content strategy. They are categorized as follows:

  • XML—. Native XML tools

  • XML Aware—. Tools that provide structural authoring and XML output from a traditional authoring interface

  • Non XML—. Tools that provide authoring functionality but not XML output.
