At the outset, I would like to acknowledge the challenges involved in writing this book. This book represents a significant amount of personal and professional effort. Changing jobs and taking on substantial professional responsibilities, with several immediate deliverables, naturally did not help. Rather than rushing this book to publication, I made a conscious decision to delay it by nearly a year, to ensure it not only meets, but potentially surpasses, the quality and detail for which my first book, Deploying Juniper Data Centers with EVPN VXLAN, is now known (and also, in equal part, to maintain my own sanity).
