Custom Subassemblies
The stock subassemblies available with the AutoCAD® Civil 3D® software are capable of providing many solutions to your corridor needs, as discussed in Chapter 8, “Assemblies and Subassemblies.” However, there are going to be instances when what they offer isn't exactly what you need. Sometimes it may be too robust or sometimes not robust enough. When you install Civil 3D 2013, you are given the option to install an additional program called Autodesk® Subassembly Composer for AutoCAD® Civil 3D® (hereafter referred to as Subassembly Composer).
