Using Events and Actions

Now that you have learned how to create scripts, it's time to define what the scripts do. Before a script can become active, the user must trigger an event. Events are rules that define triggers. These events include clicking, tapping a mouse, collision detection, and more. Because of the wide array of available events, you can set up real-life situations for users walking the halls of the model.

Events are found in the Scripter window, as shown in Figure 11.3. To create an event, select any of the icons at the bottom of the Events view.
