An actor can watch another actor for its life cycle events:

Whenever you need this actor to be aware of when another actor terminates, you can instruct it to watch that other actor with actor context. When that actor terminates, the supervising actor will receive a Terminated message. You can register a handler of a Terminated message the same way you handle any other message from the received message.
