It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The shape of maps
A map has a particular shape if it has the key-value pairs that make up the shape. A person shape, for example, could be gender and age keys with specific values. If a map has these, it doesn't matter what other key-value pairs it has because you're not using them. With Immutable.js, performing partial matches to find values that fit a particular shape is commonplace. How do you perform deep equality checks only for specific key-value pairs? Let's find out.
