So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 8: Creating and Modifying VM Disks, Templates, and Snapshots
This chapter represents the end of second part of the book, in which we focused on various libvirt features—installing Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) as a solution, libvirt networking and storage, virtual devices and display protocols, installing virtual machines (VMs) and configuring them… and all of that as a preparation for things that are coming in the next part of the book, which is about automation, customization, and orchestration. In order for us to be able to learn about those concepts, we must now switch our focus to VMs and their advanced operations—modifying, templating, using snapshots, and so on.
