I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Advantages of mobile emulators
The following are a few advantages of using emulators for mobile test automation:
- If we want to validate the original look, feel, and behavior of real devices without investing in one, then using an emulator is the best option.
- We can easily configure the hardware specification of the emulated real device that we want to use depending on the needs; for example, we can configure the operating system version, RAM, whether an SD card is present or not and its size, and many more for a lower-level validation with real-world conditions.
- Physical devices are cumbersome to maintain and manage, besides being costly, and any organization will have to keep its inventory updated with numerous releases of newer devices. With emulators, ...
