Get to know Revit's basic commands, tools, and techniques. The faster you learn to work with the interface, the more productive you'll become. With the new interface, most tools appear when an object is selected; however, some tools are located on the Modify tab. As you progress using Revit, you'll find that certain commands are better suited for certain tasks. For example, you'll develop a sense of when to copy and paste an element versus when to move and copy it; and when to use the spacebar instead of the Rotate tool.
