So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
2 SHOOTING WITH THE X-E1 AND X-PRO1
2.1 HERE WE GO!
Are you ready to get started with the X-E1 or X-Pro1 system? Here are a few tips for an all-purpose configuration and for handling your camera:
• Set the camera to auto ISO (SHOOTING MENU > ISO > AUTO [6400]) and auto DR (SHOOTING MENU > DYNAMIC RANGE > AUTO). This set-up gives the camera the maximum amount of flexibility and will immediately provide you with high-quality JPEG results. Don’t worry about high ISO values! The X-Pro1 and X-E1 produce great images all the way up to ISO 6400. The ISO values that are increased by one or two exposure values when the dynamic range function is activated do not actually mean a true increase in ISO sensitivity (even in bright light, the camera’s automatic ...
