Preface to the Third Edition

Why a third edition of Mastering the Requirements Process? Because we need it. Much water has passed under the bridge since the last edition of this book was published, and much has happened in the requirements and development world. We have applied the Volere requirements techniques described in this book to many projects; we have received feedback from our projects and those of clients and other practitioners of the Volere techniques; and armed with that knowledge we felt it was time to update our book to reflect the current state of requirements practice.
