Appendix B. The Curve Editor
As you create your gaming assets, you’ll sometimes want to change some property or parameter over time, perhaps to animate an asset. These changes are internally graphed onto a curve, in which Time runs along the bottom of the graph and the value of the property runs up the side (see FIGURE B.1).

In UnrealEd, you can view and manipulate curves within the Curve Editor. The Curve Editor will appear in two locations: the Cascade Particle Editor and the Matinee System. In each case, its interface and functionality is exactly the same.
