As just discussed, the accuracy and value of the capacity management views and reports relies on an administrator's ability to correctly translate his/her environmental requirements into policies. Although it is important to understand that capacity management in vROps is no longer limited to vSphere instances, for the purposes of this chapter, vSphere will be the primary focus.
