Texturing and Lighting an Environment, Part 2

In Chapter 7, “Texturing and Lighting an Environment, Part 1,” you textured and lit an interior room with skylights. In this chapter, part 2 of the project will guide you through the following steps:

  • Preparing the scene
  • Adding occlusion
  • Creating multirender passes
  • Fine-tuning the render
  • Setting up a stereoscopic camera

In addition, important lighting and texturing theory is included as follows:

  • Ambient occlusion
  • Multirender passes
  • Stereoscopic 3D
