So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Deploying a .NET Remoting Object
Create a setup program that installs a Windows service, a serviced component, a .NET Remoting object, and an XML Web service.
Register components and assemblies.
Configure client computers and servers to use a Windows service, a serviced component, a .NET Remoting object, and an XML Web service.
A .NET remoting object is generally deployed with the server application that uses it. This server application may be created as a console application, a Windows application, a Windows service, or a Web application. Based on what you have studied so far, the process of deploying a .NET remoting object is very similar. I'll take most of the space in this section to demonstrate how to create and use a merge module.
