So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Although there has been a clear shift in Microsoft’s focus on name resolution toward DNS-based name resolution, there is still a lot of NetBIOS name resolution heritage in Windows Server 2003. Since the introduction of networking in Microsoft Windows, NetBIOS and NetBIOS name resolution have been standard. From lmhosts files to broadcasts to WINS servers, Windows has always relied on NetBIOS name resolution mechanisms.
