It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Writing is about blocks, from the moveable printing blocks used by the ancient Chinese to the universal writer’s block. In word processing, the word blocks refers to selected chunks of text in a document, which I believe you’ll find more useful to your productivity than the other types of blocks.
