Exploring a Desktop Database—Housing Reservations

Now that you know something about the major objects that make up an Access database, a good next step is to spend some time exploring the Housing Reservations database (Housing.accdb) on the companion CD that accompanies this book. First, follow the instructions at the beginning of this book for installing the sample files on your hard drive. When you start Access, it displays the New tab on the Microsoft Office Backstage view, as shown in Figure 3-2.
