Chapter 5. Understanding the Data Access Object Model
In Chapter 4, you looked at the Microsoft Access Object and learned how you can make forms and reports interact in an application. There are other object models that can be used to construct your application, and in this chapter, you will look in detail at the Data Access Object (DAO) model, with which you can manipulate the database structure and content by using program code. An overview of the DAO structure is presented in Figure 5-1.
