Working with New Campaigns and Campaign Templates
When working with new Campaigns, you have two options: a new Campaign or a new Campaign template. A Campaign template is used when you anticipate needing to use the Campaign and its related Tasks and Activities again.
When working with Campaigns and Campaign templates, you can easily manage which one to work with by viewing the Template Status on the quickview (see Figure 9.6).

Campaign templates differ from Campaigns in that they must be converted to Campaigns (from the Ribbon menu) to be used to record Campaign responses against.
