Workflows

Before digging into workflow development, let’s briefly review what workflow means in IT terms.

A workflow is a series of functions or methods called steps, which are performed sequentially. The flow can change the processing direction by using conditionals referred to as conditional branches. Figure 22.55 shows a conditional workflow as it would appear on a flowchart.
