IFD Defined

Internet Facing Deployment (IFD) is a feature that enables Users to log on to Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a type of authentication known as Forms authentication. Forms authentication is a method of authentication that prompts Users with a web page interface instead of Integrated Windows Authentication. The default installation for Microsoft Dynamics CRM is Integrated Windows Authentication.
