Microsoft introduced the ability for multiple people to collaborate on a worksheet back in 2017. The first release of any product from Microsoft has rough edges. As I am writing this, the collaboration tools are four years old. Microsoft has improved the collaboration tools, offering better commenting, mentions, and show changes.
