Lync Configuration for Exchange UM
With the Exchange UM configuration in place, Lync can be configured to integrate with Exchange UM as the final step in the process. If Lync dial plans have not already been configured at this point, the dial plans would need to be configured to allow call routing between the various components. For details on the process for configuring Lync dial plans and voice routing, see Chapter 17, “Lync Telephony and Voice Integration.” After a dial plan is in place, the remaining task is to create the AD contact objects that are required to resolve and locate the Exchange UM subscriber access and auto-attendant services.
