AMONG the signature features of Office 2010 are the capabilities it provides to help you work together with others on documents or projects. Traditionally, coauthoring has been a sequential process: you make edits to a document and send it via e-mail to the next person, who then does the same. That process—with some improvements—is still the most common way to share documents. The goal remains the same as always: to create a final document that incorporates the work (or at least the approval) of several people.
