5. Document Formatting

Unlike character and paragraph formatting (discussed in Chapter 6), document formatting applies to an entire document (or, in some cases, to selected document sections). You can use document formatting commands to change the page orientation, set margins, or specify a custom paper size on which to print a memo or envelope, for example.
