Showing the Top or Bottom Items in a Field

The AutoShow feature lets you display only the top or bottom n items in a field, based on values in the data area of your table. To use AutoShow, select the field you're interested in, and then click the Field Settings button on the PivotTable toolbar. (Alternatively, choose PivotTable, Field Settings.) In the PivotTable Field dialog box, click Advanced to display the PivotTable Field Advanced Options dialog box, shown in Figure 30-16. Figure 30-17 shows an example of a PivotTable that uses AutoShow. To match this, rearrange the table so that the Quarter field appears on the row axis and the Channel field is on the column axis.
