Chapter 13. Managing Your Outlook Files

Microsoft Outlook 2010 stores your data in special types of files called Outlook data files. The main type of file is a personal folder file, or PST file. Outlook can store a complete set of Outlook folders—in addition to custom folders you add—in a PST file. For example, a particular PST would include Calendar, Inbox, and Tasks folders, along with custom folders.
