In this chapter, you’ll learn how to build a Power BI report that relies on data from an Oracle database. Like several other data sources, you can obtain data from an Oracle database by importing it using import mode or DirectQuery mode. You’ll also learn how to set up a data gateway to work with the Oracle database. This data gateway will be configured with Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC).
