I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

With most Microsoft products, you double-click the product’s icon, the corresponding application launches, and you can start working pretty much right away. Because the application functions as a platform, its interface is your entire home base. Power Platform works a little differently in this regard.
Working with Power Platform is like building an apartment complex. Each application is like a room, and these rooms (the apps you create with Power Apps) are part of an apartment (solution). The entire building (environment) hosts one or more of these apartments. You can customize each room with different features, such as reports in Power BI, workflows in Power Automate, and tables in Dataverse, similar to how you choose the decor for your apartment rooms.
This chapter shows how to navigate the Power Platform admin center and introduces the Power Apps Maker Portal, the glue that brings together a Power Platform solution.
