The sections that follow examine key tasks for managing Web site properties. You configure most Web site properties through the Web site’s Properties dialog box.
Each Web site on a server has a home directory. The home directory is the base directory for all documents that the site publishes. It contains a home page that links to other pages in your site. The home directory is mapped to your site’s domain name or to the server name.
