You can track the changes that you make to a Word document, for later review and acceptance or rejection.
Word automatically assigns a unique color to the revisions of each document reviewer. If you prefer, you can choose a specific color for the revisions that you make in any document.
You can insert comments into a document. Word uses the same color system for comments that it does for tracked changes.
You can view changes and comments in a Word document either in the balloons that appear in the margin in Print Layout view, or in the Reviewing pane.
You can control the way your changes appear in documents by making selections in the Word Preferences dialog box. Your choices include the name attributed to your comments.
