An object within Access is anything that has properties that can be manipulated. Because Access is, at least partially, an object-oriented development platform, almost everything you use within Access is an object. From a field in a table, to a form, to a control on a report, to a query and everything in between. These are all objects, and much of Access design is manipulating the properties of those objects.
