Hiding Lists or Libraries from the Browser

One option available when working with lists and libraries in SharePoint Designer that’s not available via the Web interface is the option to hide a list or library from the browser. By checking the Hide from Browser option in the Settings part on a list or library settings page, as shown in Figure 10.31, you effectively make the list or library invisible. After it’s hidden, the list or library is not visible via the View All Site Content view nor is it visible within a site’s navigation.
