So far, you’ve seen how you can easily modify existing styles in SharePoint Designer. However, there are a number of additional editing tools relating to working with CSS, which are covered in this section.

Applying Existing Styles

The Apply Styles task pane enables you to apply existing styles to elements and objects on a page, either in design or code view. Just as in the Manage Styles task pane, in the Apply Styles task pane you can choose to only show styles used in the current page or categorize by order or type, using the Options drop-down selection.
