Creating a Top Rating Posts DFWP
In this section you learn how to create a DFWP to show the most popular blog posts, based on ratings, in your blog site. Use the following steps to create a top rating post DFWP.
1. Still on the home page of the blog site, and with the page open in SharePoint Designer in design mode, place your cursor in the top-right DIV and add a couple of carriage returns. Position your cursor toward the top of the DIV.
2. Click the ribbon’s Insert tab and then click the Data View drop-down selection and click Empty Data View.
3. Click the Click Here to Select a Data Source link (see Figure 24.73) and in the Data Sources Picker click Posts and click OK.
