Workflow Integration with Office Clients

Using Office 2010 you are able to start and manage workflows from client applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. It is now simple to start a workflow from Word using the Office backstage, as shown in Figure 27.65. Any initiation forms that have been created for the workflow appear in a pop-up. It is not necessary to first save a document back to SharePoint and then open the browser to manually start a workflow.
