With SQL Server 2012, much hype is being made about the AlwaysOn option. For DR, the use of the AlwaysOn Availability Groups to replicate data to other locations for DR is becoming the new path for many. AlwaysOn has actually taken the best from database mirroring and SQL clustering and married the two together to give a wide array of configuration options for both high availability and for DR.
