The Database Engine Tuning Advisor GUI
From the Tools menu in SSMS, you can select the Database Engine Tuning Advisor option to invoke the GUI for DTA. Or you can invoke this GUI by selecting Start, All Programs, Microsoft SQL Server 2014, Performance Tools, Database Engine Tuning Adviser Program from your desktop (see Figure 40.2).
